Ahhh! A new blog?!?!?

Do I look like someone who would instantly have the blog all together?
I’m in the process of turning this blog on. Cut me some slack.
I’m still working on tweaking the CSS; if anyone has suggestions about style, design, etc., I’d be glad to hear them.
As I get going on this, I’ll be providing updates on my prep for a life abroad with little other than my backpack.
And eventually I’ll be chronicling my adventures — in Kenya, India, Thailand, wherever — and my attempts to make a living as a freelance journalist.
There’ll be pictures, videos, words (of course) and more interesting stuff than you can shake a stick at.

Otherwise, I’m looking forward to see what you come up with.
