In the throes of death
The eaves at the Taj Mahal mosque are home to bee hives. Hence, the floors at the Taj Mahal mosque are home to worn-out worker bees looking for a peaceful place to die.
I accidentally interrupted the final moments of this little bugger and he got me good and good in my middle toe. I actually had to pull out a very large stinger still attached bee hindparts from my foot. (Wish I had a proper photo of that.)
Of course, as he won a final battle with me, he also lost the war. But he gets eternal glory on this blog.
