Saturday night kebab lights

I continued my research on the best chicken tikka roll in India this Saturday night. A new friend led me to Arabian Delights in Defence Colony Market, which she swears by, it was closed by the time we got there; thankfully, Colonel’s Kebabs around the corner was happy for our business.
The Colonel does a decent job (see below); we devoured our food and sipped Hoegaarden illicitly in the parking lot — a great cap to the evening — but my Khan Market kebabwallah remains on top.

Ronald and Tommy do India

It’s been more than five years since I was in Delhi, India’s capital. It’s at once a very old and very new city. It is and isn’t how I remember it.
This afternoon, I had a meeting at Khan Market, a favorite shopping center of expats and middle-class Indians. It has all the hallmarks of old India — still loud, a bit cramped, stores and traffic are chaotic, you might get run over by a motorbike and you can spend four hours shopping for saris and bangles.
