Underwater, the world is decidedly blue. Except when nature goes rogue, with this iridescent red anemone and its sentinel of a clownfish.

An octopus hides in a hole after I scared him out of his camouflage. Below, you can see him right center frame but his ability to blend is just too good.

Resting on the bottom of the sea

We both basically wanted a nap

A stingray relaxes on the bottom of the ocean. I also put my elbows down to kick back with him. I vividly remember leading this dive and being very excited when I found the ray for my divers.

How far would you swim off the drop off…

Pseudo wall at South Button

South Button is essentially a knob of rock sticking out of the ocean. Part of it features something of a drop-off that heads down far deeper than humans safely dive with needing decompression time.

It makes for fantastic diving, however, as there are cracks, semi-caves, overhangs and walls to dive along. And all harbor immense amounts of life.
